Weight-Inclusive Nutrition & Therapy Support for Endometriosis and PCOS

Nutrition and therapy in Pennsylvania that honor your lived experience.

Compassionate care for complex conditions — no diets, no shame, no weight loss pressure

endometriosis

Living with endometriosis or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) can feel confusing, isolating, and exhausting.

Especially when your pain is dismissed or you're told the solution is to "just lose weight."

At A Soft Place to Land, we specialize in HAES-aligned, weight-inclusive nutrition and therapy for people with PCOS and endometriosis. Whether you’re looking for nutrition counseling, supportive therapy, or a team that truly gets it, you’re in the right place.

Why Specialized Support for Endometriosis and PCOS Matters

PCOS and endometriosis are often misunderstood by healthcare providers.

You might be navigating:

  • Chronic pelvic pain and inflammation

  • Irregular or painful periods

  • Fatigue, bloating, and brain fog

  • Hormonal imbalances or insulin resistance

  • Digestive symptoms or IBS-like issues

  • Fertility struggles

  • Body changes and medical weight stigma

The advice you’ve been given might sound like:

“Go gluten-free.”
“Try keto.”
“Cut carbs.”
“Lose weight and come back.”

This isn’t just frustrating — it’s harmful. And it’s not based in care.
The emotional toll of endometriosis and PCOS is just as real as the physical symptoms.

We believe you deserve evidence-informed, weight-inclusive care that honors your lived experience and supports you without shame.

We take a non-diet approach to PCOS and endometriosis, focusing on nourishment, stability, and flexibility — not restriction or weight loss.

How it all works

1. Schedule your discovery call

Here we'll chat for 15 minutes about why you reached out, how we can best support you, and schedule your first session.

2. Complete intake forms

This only takes about 10-15 minutes long to help us learn more about you and get important information to get started.

3. Attend the first session

During this session we'll go at your own pace. We have some questions but recognize meeting a new provider can feel daunting. We're here to go slow or willing to dive right in. We can't wait to get to know you!

4. Attend follow-ups

The bulk of where the emotional work comes in. Session frequency is determined by what you and your clinician feel is best.

Frequently asked questions

We work with children (10 years old + ), teens, and adults. You can learn more about our children and teen program here.

Nutrition counseling is in network with Aetna, Highmark/BCBS (including Anthem and Horizon), Populytics, and Capital BCBS. Therapy is in network with Highmark/BCBS and Populytics only. If we do not accept your insurance, we are happy to provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance to receive potential reimbursement or discuss sliding scale options.

All sessions with any clinician are $165.

We believe that all therapy and nutrition services should be accessible to all and therefore try to offer sliding scale rates to those who request them. We also parter with Project Heal, an organization that provides assistance with access to eating disorder care, and FedUp, an organization that supports our trans and intersex clients.

Our office is located at 65 E Elizabeth Ave, Suite 210, Bethlehem, PA 18018 or we can meet virtually via our HIPAA compliant platform.

We understand that many people come to us with a long history of dieting, weight concerns, and a desire to lose weight, often shaped by personal experiences, medical messaging, and societal pressures. While we do not provide weight loss plans or prescribe diets, we deeply value body autonomy and honor each person's right to make decisions about their body.

Our team practices from a weight-inclusive, Health at Every Size® (HAES®)-aligned framework. This means we focus on supporting your overall well-being—including physical, emotional, and relational health—without using weight as the indicator of progress. Rather than focusing on changing your body, we work with you to build a more peaceful relationship with food, movement, and your body, wherever you are in your journey.

We’re here to hold space for your experiences and help you explore what feeling better in your body can mean, even if weight loss is a hope or curiosity for you. You don’t have to leave those feelings at the door and you won’t be judged for them. We just won’t use intentional weight loss as a treatment goal.
