Registered dietitian

jordyn, an eating disorder registered dietitian

Hi! I'm Jordyn

I'm thrilled you've found your way here! As an eating disorder dietitian, I'm on a mission to help you rediscover a more gentle relationship with food and your body.

My journey in nutrition for eating disorders began at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where I earned my degree in Dietetics, and continued at Cedar Crest College where I completed my Masters and Dietetic Internship.

I'm passionate about creating a safe, judgment-free zone where you can openly share your relationship with food and your body. Whether you're an athlete in recovery, a teenager navigating the choppy waters of adolescence, or an adult seeking freedom from food rules, I'm here to provide specialized nutrition for eating disorders. And yes, that means ALL of you - because I firmly believe in providing equitable, social justice-aligned care that honors every individual's unique experiences and backgrounds.

As an eating disorder dietitian, I am aligned with non-diet nutrition, weight-inclusive and fat positive care, Health At Every Size (HAES) principles. We'll work together to rediscover the pleasure in eating (because, let's face it, food is meant to be enjoyed and is so much more than fuel!) and nurture a healing relationship with your body.

There's no one-size-fits-all definition of recovery in nutrition for eating disorders. Your journey is as unique as you are, and I'm here to support you every step of the way. I'm honored to walk beside you and be a part of your team. I'm deeply committed to challenging the status quo in eating disorder nutrition care, advocating for inclusive, compassionate treatment for all bodies.

We'll explore how societal pressures, systemic oppression, and cultural expectations have influenced your relationship with food and your body. By recognizing these external factors, we can start to separate your inherent worth from these harmful messages. Remember, you are so much more than your body or your relationship with food – you're a whole, complex, wonderful human being deserving of care and respect, regardless of your size, shape, or background.
